Our Story

​Dan Corcoran has been servicing the North Shore with electrical services and solutions for 30 years at Adam's Electric in Wilmette, IL.  Recently Adam's Electric closed it's doors after 97 years of service.  One thing remains consistent, past customers are still looking and asking for Dan...  Good news, you've found him.  If you're like many and have been saying "Send Dan" for years, he's ready to continue giving you the A+ service and workmanship you've grown to love and expect.  


 We are a family owned and family run business.  When you call Corcoran Electric you will work directly with Dan Corcoran, founder and owner.  Dan is licensed, bonded, and insured to install and repair all your electrical needs. He has installed and maintained home generators for decades.  He is ready to help you.

Sheil Catholic Center at Northwestern University

Dan has worked at the Sheil Catholic Center in Evanston, Illinois for 30 years.  In this time he has served as the Facilities Manager and has overseen and performed many renovations including the installation of an elevator, lighting upgrades, air conditioning units, and the electrical infrastructure. 
Rebuilding New Orleans

​
Since Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and crippled this great city in 2005, Dan has been leading teams of Northwestern University student volunteers every Spring to rebuild homes in the greater New Orleans area.  Pursuing opportunities provided through his local church and working through numerous charities such as St. Bernard Project and Habitat for Humanity, Dan, with the support of caring college students, has forged relationships with this community by providing hope, light, and restoration in New Orleans.
Adam's Electric Company

Dan began working at Adam's Electric in 1988 as a Field Electrician.  Over the course of 30+ years he has done work in industrial, residential, and commercial settings.  During his stead, Dan also took on estimating jobs, supervising employees, and keeping the shop flush with inventory.  From the smallest detail to the fullest electrical overhaul, Dan's knowledge of expediting jobs is complete.
